Throughout her celebrated career, Joy Marivic has received prestigious honors including the La Femme Best Performer Award, Gawad America Award, and Outstanding La Femme – Best Melodic Enchanting Vocalist recognition. As an OPM (Original Pilipino Music) composer and performer, she has showcased her talent on international stages, including Wish USA Wisclusive OPM 2023 in Long Island, New York. 🎤 Jônia Queen
Jônia Queen is an internationally recognized Brazilian dance artist, choreographer, performer, and cultural ambassador known for her passion for Samba, Brazilian dance, and sharing the vibrant traditions of Brazil with audiences worldwide. Born in Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil, she is the founder of Raiz Brazil Dance Company in Los Angeles, where she directs, choreographs, and performs dynamic productions celebrating Brazilian culture. With more than 10 years of experience teaching Samba and other Brazilian dance styles, Jônia Queen continues to inspire dancers and audiences through her artistry, leadership, and dedication to cultural preservation.
Throughout her celebrated career, Jônia Queen has performed with renowned artists including Sergio Mendes at the Hollywood Bowl and Ozomatli Band at the Playboy Jazz Festival. She has led international cultural tours to Mexico, China, Thailand, and Russia, bringing Brazilian music and dance to audiences around the world. Her achievements include being named Hollywood Carnival Queen South America 2026, Hollywood Carnival Queen 2015, and Samba Queen USA 2016/17. Through her powerful performances and commitment to cultural exchange, Jônia Queen continues to represent the beauty, energy, and diversity of Brazilian culture on the global stage.
