The second version is perfectly fine, but it is more generic and could describe many designers. The first version creates a stronger brand identity and feels more appropriate for an honoree, featured designer, judge, or special guest at an awards gala.

Born in Afghanistan and raised in the United States, Helay Ayoub is an accomplished fashion designer, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. She is the Founder and CEO of Kandahar Market, a distinguished Afghan-American fashion brand that elegantly combines the richness of traditional Afghan heritage with contemporary fashion and modern sophistication.
Helay’s passion for fashion extends far beyond design. She is deeply committed to helping those in need, particularly underprivileged children, and believes in the power of compassion, perseverance, and service to others. Her journey has been guided by the principles of dreaming big, working hard, and never giving up.
Throughout her career, Helay has received numerous prestigious honors and international recognitions. She was presented with the International Designer of the Year Award in Cannes, France, received the Best Designer Award from Virgelia Productions, and has been recognized for her outstanding work in Tokyo, Japan, Dubai, Dallas, Texas, and other international venues. She has also received the Global Designer Achievement Award from Amerika Prestige and was honored with a distinguished award presented by the Prince of Malaysia.
